Cabin Guest Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Rocky Ridge Resort!

We are delighted that you have chosen to stay with us and look forward to sharing our beautiful cabins and 105-acre property with you.

Before completing your reservation, we ask that you carefully read the following Terms & Conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and relaxing experience for all of our guests while helping us protect our property, wildlife, and facilities.

By making a reservation, paying a deposit, or staying at Rocky Ridge Resort, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Reservations & Deposits

• A $100 deposit per cabin is required at the time of booking.
• $50 of each cabin deposit is non-refundable.
• Reservations are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Cancellation Policy

Cabin Reservations

• A $100 deposit per cabin is required at the time of booking.
• $50 of the deposit is non-refundable.
• If you cancel less than seven (7) days before your arrival date, the entire deposit becomes non-refundable.
• Reservations booked between December 20 and January 5 are fully non-refundable.

Weddings & Events

• A $500 booking deposit is required.
• $250 of the deposit is non-refundable.
• The remaining balance is due four (4) weeks prior to the wedding or event.
• Cancellations made within four (4) weeks of the event will result in the full deposit being forfeited.
• Cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the event will be charged 50% of the total booking amount.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event, or failure to arrive (“no-show”), will be charged 100% of the total booking amount.

Gatherings & Visitors

If you are planning to host a gathering during your stay—such as a birthday celebration, family reunion, bachelor or bachelorette party, anniversary, or any other event involving additional visitors—we ask that you notify Rocky Ridge Resort in advance.

All events and additional visitors must be approved by management prior to arrival. Additional guest fees or event rental fees may apply depending on the size and nature of the gathering.

To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests staying at the resort, Rocky Ridge Resort reserves the right to limit the number of visitors or decline unapproved events

Occupancy

• Cabin rates are based on double occupancy.
• Additional guest fees apply for guests 15 years of age and older.
• Children 14 years of age and younger stay free.
• Pets are subject to the applicable pet fee.

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight unless prior approval has been given by management.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Check-out: 12:00 PM (Noon)

If you expect to arrive after 9:00 PM, please contact us in advance.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may be subject to an additional fee.

Please leave your cabin in a tidy condition upon departure. Wash and put away dishes, remove personal belongings, and dispose of garbage as instructed.

Smoking

Smoking or vaping of tobacco, cannabis, or any other substances is strictly prohibited inside all cabins and buildings.

Please use designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

Children

Children are always welcome at Rocky Ridge Resort.

For their safety, children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Our property is a working farm and contains natural hazards including wildlife, horses, livestock, farm machinery, creeks, swamps, uneven ground, fences, and other potential dangers.

Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the safety and supervision of their children.

Pets

We are happy to welcome your pets.

• Pet fee: $25 per pet, per stay.
• Pets must not be left unattended inside cabins unless safely secured in a kennel.
• Dogs that are not friendly with people or other animals must remain on a leash at all times.
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Waste bags are not provided.
• Aggressive behaviour, excessive barking, or pets causing disturbance to other guests may result in the animal being required to leave the property without refund.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.

Housekeeping

Your cabin will be professionally cleaned before your arrival.

Daily housekeeping is not provided.

Each cabin includes a complimentary supply of toiletries and household essentials intended for approximately a two-day stay. Additional supplies may be available upon request.

Cell Service & Wi-Fi

There is no cellular service available on the property.

Wi-Fi is available at the office, or from the white house.

Please note that Wi-Fi speeds may vary depending on weather and usage.

Power & Generators

Most of our cabins operate entirely on propane for lighting, refrigeration, cooking, and hot water.

The Beaver Cabin is equipped with a small solar power system.

Generators may be connected to the Bear Cabin, Eagle Cabin, and Dream Valley Saloon.

Generator is available for $50 per full tank.

Vehicle Access

We strongly recommend using a 4-wheel drive (4×4) or all-wheel drive vehicle, especially during the winter months.

Road conditions may vary depending on the season.

Wildlife & Farm Safety

Rocky Ridge Resort is located in beautiful wilderness and is home to wildlife including black bears, moose, coyotes, deer, and many other animals.

Please help us keep wildlife wild by:

• Never feeding wildlife.
• Keeping food and garbage securely stored.
• Not leaving coolers, food, or garbage outside overnight.
• Respecting all farm animals and staying out of barns, pens, and fenced areas unless invited by staff.

Fire Safety

For everyone’s safety:

• Fires are only permitted in designated fire pits.
• Fires may be prohibited during periods of high fire danger or government fire bans.
• Fireworks, sky lanterns, hunting, firearms, and recreational shooting are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

Quiet Enjoyment

To ensure all guests enjoy a peaceful stay, quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily.

During these hours, please keep noise to a minimum by lowering the volume of music, voices, and other activities. Please be respectful of other guests staying on the property.

Excessive noise, loud music, or disruptive behaviour may result in guests being asked to reduce noise levels or leave the property without refund.

Sauna

The wood-fired sauna is available for $50 per use.

For pricing and availability regarding weddings, private events, or exclusive use of the resort, please contact us directly.

Damage & Lost Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to cabins, furnishings, equipment, or resort property during their stay.

Rocky Ridge Resort is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten personal belongings.

Items left behind will be held for a limited time when possible. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the guest.

Liability

Rocky Ridge Resort is a 105-acre working farm with cabins, forests, wildlife, livestock, creeks, swamps, uneven terrain, heavy equipment, natural hazards, and other inherent risks.

By entering the property, guests acknowledge these risks and accept full responsibility for themselves and anyone in their party.

Rocky Ridge Resort, its owners, employees, and representatives shall not be held liable for any accident, injury, illness, loss, theft, damage, or death occurring on the property, except where required by applicable law.

Guests are responsible for their own safety and for the conduct and safety of all members of their party throughout their stay.
